Nanotechnological Approaches in Aquaculture

Aquaculture has the fastest growing demand for world’s growing population. In spite of its
growth, it facing many challenges like Infectious diseases, Pollution, Climatic change etc.
Nanotechnological approaches are increasingly investigated and have already shown
potential to contribute to the development of aquaculture (Bhattacharyya et al. 2015).
Nanotechnological intervention will help to meet the global challenges associated with
aquatic organism production, including environmental sustainability, disease control and
food security. This article will provide various applications of nanotechnology in fish
nutrition, aquatic health management, pond management system and their impact in
aquaculture.
